Ferrari Portofino Australasian Premiere – Video

The all-new Ferrari Portofino recently made its Australasian premiere along the stunning coastline of Byron Bay – Australia’s answer to the ultimate barefoot luxury destination, internationally renowned for its style, glamour and understated luxury. While in Byron Bay, Ferrari’s guests enjoyed an exclusive evening of ‘barefoot luxury’ at the award winning resort, Elements of Byron Resort & Spa.

Overlooking Belongil Beach’s breathtaking coastline, this beautifully designed resort provided the perfect backdrop for the unveiling of the stunning new Ferrari Portofino. The evening commenced under an old, established fig tree in the spectacular ‘Ferrari Portofino Village’ at Elements with guests dressed in white while enjoying Veuve Clicquot Champagne, specially designed ‘Portofino Spritz’ sunset cocktails and canapes.

Special guests such as Australian model Erin Holland and Australian actor David Berry from Outlander, were amongst the guests that were later ferried by a fleet of golf-buggies to a custom-built Ferrari marque designed to make the most of the stunning Australian sunset. Bespoke table settings included customised menus featuring illustrations of each guest, created by acclaimed Italian artist Nina Fuga for the evening. Guests enjoyed a custom 3-course menu utilizing fresh local produce, under the stars whilst overlooking the beautiful coastline of Belongil Beach.

 

 

The final part of the evening saw guests ushered together for a high energy drum performance complete with flame throwers and the highly anticipated unveiling of the Ferrari Portofino on the sand.
