Ferrari Passione Rossa Event in Ras Al Khaimah – Video

Dubai, 11 December – Ferrari reaffirmed its ability to unleash an unparalleled spectrum of emotions in Ferrari owners from across the region with the 2017 instalment of the Passione Rossa event series. Inspired by the passion, adrenaline and pure joy associated with the 488 range, Ferrari treated owners to a breathless weekend drive experience designed to showcases the agility, responsiveness and exhilaration of the 488GTB and 488 Spider.

On a weekend in October, Ferrari owners gathered at the legendary Ritz-Carlton, Al Wadi, located in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah for a briefing on the 488 challenge ahead. Once prepared with driving and route advice, the group, led by two Pilotas from Maranello began the ascent up Jebel Jais, the highest point in the UAE. The fleet of cars were tested on some of the best driving roads in the Middle East and were unleashed to their full capacity as the terrain became ever steeper.

 

 

 

At the summit of the mountain, the team were allowed to cool off with inspirational views over the mountains, whilst taking part in ‘hot laps’ with the experienced Pilotas. As sun set, the team returned to the hotel at a more moderate pace, allowing the thrill of the afternoon to crystalize and imprint on the imagination. As night fell, the party were immersed into the timeless Ferrari glamour, with a dinner held under the desert sky, filled with traditional Arabian hospitality stretching late into the evening.
