Eight Customized Ford Mustangs Will Be At SEMA
Ford is bringing eight customized Mustangs to this year’s SEMA Show, most of which are powered by modified versions of the four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, with up to 900hp!
Built by Bisimoto, the “BisiBoost” Mustang has triple the power of the standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost Mustang, thanks to extensive engine modifications. Bisimoto added 14 new parts for the engine and chassis, including Turbonetics BTX7668 turbo with internal wastegate, Five O Motorsport 2200cc fuel injectors, Godzilla blow-off valve, custom air intake, MagnaFuel 750 fuel pump, NGK Iridium spark plugs, Web Level 2.4 camshaft, custom exhaust system, Supertech springs and titanium retainers and more.
With 727hp from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, Motoroso’s interpretation of the Mustang will promote the tuner’s social media site. The car rides on 21-inch red candy Rotiform SPF wheels and is fitted with an Eibach spring kit.
TS Designs has worked on the Mustang convertible, giving it a wide backside that can accommodate massive 13-inch wide rear tires. The extra wide rear tires are combined with the Steeda Autosports Stage 3 Handling Package and lowering springs.
Another custom Mustang convertible has been modified by MAD, which gave the car a Pure Black with Brilliant Blue contrast paint scheme, combined with a blue interior in fine Trevino leather and Miko Suede. It’s 5.0-liter V8 is pushed to 725hp.
Ice Nine Group claims it built “the ultimate EcoBoost Mustang”, a 475hp custom version inspired by Germany’s DTM Touring car series and the all-new Shelby GT350R. Extra power is squeezed from the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine thanks to a Garrett GTX3076R turbo, Corsa prototype exhaust system, custom downpipe and custom tuning by Dead Hook Motorsports. An Air Lift Performance air suspension along with a full six-point roll cage complete the changes.
The DRAGG Mustang is a police version of the popular pony car that combines sleek design with custom police lighting. The “Thin Blue Line” theme for this show car adds character to the exterior and interior trim of this law enforcer we’d love to see on the streets.
CGS’ Mustang Convertible can be considered a sleeper among the wild concepts of the show, but it’s for those who don’t like flashy stuff. It rides on custom forged 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels and features a unique leather treatment inside.
Finally, Bojix Design’s Mustang brings an European grand tourer feel with an interesting color theme as well as powertrain and chassis modifications.
