DS 7 Crossback Presidential Built For France President Emmanuel Macron – Video

The DS 7 Crossback had its first public outing yesterday – with new French president Emmanuel Macron on board at his inauguration on Sunday.

As the long-standing car manufacturer of choice amongst French presidents, DS created a specially modified version for the new president’s traditional drive down the Champ Elysees during his inauguration ceremony.

The brand’s first SUV for the European market was unveiled at this year’s Geneva motor show. A team of DS engineers and craftsmen worked for seven months to create the Presidential DS 7 Crossback. The uniquely spec’d model boasts custom-made opening roof to facilitate crowd waving, 20in gold detailed wheels, ‘Black Art interior’ and unique Ink Blue paint finish.

 

 

Customer deliveries of the DS 7 Crossback will begin in January 2018, but the closest you’ll get to Presidential is the high specification La Premiere which is Limited Edition and only available to order in 2017.

The Presidential DS 7 Crossback is currently displayed for the public at DS World, Paris.
