Drag Race – 2015 Z06 pully & tune vs GT-R tune & midpipe – Video

1/4 mile Drag Race featuring 2015 Corvette Z06 vs older 2013 Nissan GT-R. The Z06 is powered by a 6.2 liter Supercharged V8 that makes  a monster 650 horsepower and is shifted by an 8 speed automatic gearbox.

The Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8 Liter Twin Turbo V6 which makes almost 100HP less at 545 horsepower. Both cars owners say their cars are tuned; however, the Corvette Z06 driver gets a bad launch and the Nissan GT-R runs away. Z06 fans don’t hate the outcome – we like the Corvette Z06; however, it’s all in the launch in drag racing – and this Corvette Z06 launch is not easy to do. The same Z06 has ran 11.1 before.
