Carbon Body for Ferrari F12tdf will drop weight by 350lbs

The Ferrari F12 Tour de France is already 110 kg (242 lbs) lighter than the Ferrari Berlinetta, but a full carbon fiber body can reduce weight even further. Once the panels are replaced, the Ferrari F12tdf will lose almost 159 kg (350 lbs), so it will end up tipping the scales at around 1,256 kg (2,769 lbs).

 

Vitesse AuDessus (“superior speed” in French) says it will only make five bodies and each will be tailor-made. The good news for owners is the process is reversible so once you’ve had enough of the carbon look you can switch back to the car’s original configuration.
