Buses in Cuba are scary
The United States economic boycott of Cuba is in the process of being lifted.
That means, for the first time in over a 50 years, new cars, trucks, and buses (among an endless list of other goods) will make their way to the island nation that didn’t originate in Russia.
Cuba is currently loaded with pre-boycott 1950s-era cars that’ve been heavily customized to keep them running.
But when it comes to buses and mass transportation, even more creativity was required; just look at some of the buses. Yes, that’s a tractor pulling human load. And yes, one bus was once a dump truck.
