BMW i8 Convertible Spied – Video

 

During the Industrypool on Tuesday 23th of August, Gumbal filmed this BMW i8 Convertible test vehicle spotted spied testing on the Nürburgring, Nordschleife. You can clearly see the roof lines hidden with tape!

The current setup of a BMW i8 is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder power the rear wheels and an electric motor spin the front pair. Together they produce a peak output of 362 horsepower, enough to accelerate the i8 from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds.
