Black Porsche Macan by Mansory
Mansory’s take on the Porsche Macan is, shall we say, more than cool. Thanks to the new bodykit, this Porsche Macan looks almost nothing like the standard showroom SUV – the new grille, spoilers and horizontal LEDs are just a few of the mods that make this car pretty quirky.
Highlight
Engine options are pretty awesome with 301 PS & 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) in Diesel S form, and 464 PS to go with 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) for the Turbo version.
PRESS RELEASE
Chassis components made of ultra-light carbon, luxurious interior designs as well as powerful increase of engine performance, these are the core competences of the premium manufacturer MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH. And MANSORY proves this again in an impressive way by providing an individualised program for the Porsche Macan. An exclusive selection of XXL light alloy wheels and numerous function- and design-gadgets complete the refinement options.
Regardless how you look at this newly designed SUV, all components of this MANSORY aerodynamic program lend this vehicle a clearly sporty overall impression. An extra portion of dynamics added to the MANSORY front spoiler with its striking large air intake openings and the additional LED daytime running lights blend harmoniously into the serial design of this Porsche model. The width of the front and rear wings has been increased and, together with the side skirts, provides a strong masculine character that adds to the visual presence of the Macan.
At the back, there is a newly-designed spoiler, where the integrated diffuser insert leaves space for the stainless steel pipes on the MANSORY sports exhaust system. A combination of roof spoiler and rear spoiler lip provide the aerodynamic finishing touch, and giving the SUV more stability at high speeds.
The specialists have made almost all the aerodynamic components from prepreg autoclave carbon that is characteristic of MANSORY. The pre-formed carbon fibre elements are shaped in the autoclave in vacuum and under high temperature. This guarantees a perfect surface quality and minimum weight.
No other company in the market is as closely linked to the use of the material carbon fibre as MANSORY. The ultra-light and high-strength carbon fibre is made and processed in an in-house autoclave. This makes MANSORY independent of suppliers and ensures absolute freedom with respect to availability, fit and the design of components.
To support the mighty visual appearance, MANSORY have given the standard Porsche Macan Diesel S and Macan Turbo engines serious extra power: With about 464 HP/341 kW at 6.000 RPM and a massive torque of 650 Nm at 1.300 – 4.500 RPM, the turbo unit by MANSORY, which is spurred by a power box, clearly surpasses the baseline values (Series: 400 HP/294 kW and 550 Nm at 1.350 – 4.500 RPM). The car’s driving performance also benefits from these modifications. The enhanced power accelerates the Macan Turbo from a standing start to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reaches its top speed at 274 km/h.
MANSORY increased the power of the Macan Diesel S to 301 HP/224kW at 3.500 – 4.000 RPM and maximized the torque to 700 Nm at 1.500 – 2.500 RPM. The acceleration has been improved to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds and can be increased up to 260 km/h.
To bring this immensely powerful performance on the road, MANSORY offers a wide range of wheel designs and sizes ranging from 21 to 22 inches. For the optimum compromise between ride comfort and appearance, MANSORY recommends the wheel „SPIDER“ in 22 inch. The mono-block cast wheel comes equipped with Vredestein tyres size 265/35/R22 in front and 295/30/R22 on the rear wheel, guaranteeing a great grip to the road. MANSORY have lowered the car’s centre of gravity by a good 40 mm with a modified air suspension module, which makes wheels sit even more squarely in the wheel arches.
With the newly-designed ergonomic sports steering wheel, MANSORY offers the customer a particular highlight in the interior. As with all other MANSORY fine-tuned vehicles, with this Porsche Macan, the customer can compose his very own personal interior from an almost endless combination of leather, Alcantara, wood, carbon, or aluminium trim elements, and practically any imaginable technical feature.
