Audi Q8 E-Tron Edition Dakar With Lift Kit and All-Terrain Tires

The Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar, unveiled today, is a special electric SUV inspired by the Dakar Rally model, specifically the RS Q e-tron. This exclusive SUV is designed to deliver impressive off-road capabilities combined with high and instantly available torque, making it ideal for adventurous driving off the beaten path.

The Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar features a raised chassis and optional decals reminiscent of the RS Q e-tron. It comes with a quattro drivetrain and two motors, delivering 300 kW in boost mode. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.8 seconds with standard tires, and 5.9 seconds with General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires. The range, as per the WLTP, is up to 487 kilometers, and its top speed is limited to 200 km/h (124 mph).

This model also includes a head-up display projecting important information onto the windshield. Additionally, the vehicle boasts 18-inch wheels with chunky all-terrain tires, 65 millimeters more ground clearance than a standard Q8 e-tron, and a 57mm wider track. The roof rack comes standard and can hold up to 40kg. Inside, the SUV features a sporty S line interior with special edition floor mats and puddle lights.

Audi plans to produce just 1,000 examples of the Edition Dakar, with prices starting at around €120,000. A wrapped version featuring RS Q e-tron style graphics will also be available, limited to 99 units at a cost of €130,000. However, it seems that it will only be available in left-hand drive markets.
