Amazing Drill-powered walking machine

Made in a garage homemade, electric drill powered walking machine that you can ride around the neighborhood.

 

 

This crazy machine/sculpture of art was inspired by Theo Jansen’s kinetic sculpture walking beasts. With a self made gear box and a dewalt 20 volt drill it can handle loaded of up to 370 lbs.

 

Swan’s resulting invention may not look as comfortable to ride around in as a Segway, or a Rascal for that matter, but it’s a heck of a lot cooler.
