McLaren F1 LM-Spec Sold For $13.75 Million At Monterey 2015 – Video
Chassis number 073 is not one of the holly five+one original McLaren F1 LMs, but that didn’t stop its brand new owner from dishing out $12.5 million plus the insane buyer’s fee for it.
If you think about it in detail, $13.75 million for a nice McLaren F1 is not a bad deal.
RM originally estimated it at $15 million, and while this 1998 hypercar is pretty much a showroom mint example with just under 3,728 miles on the odometer, Rowan Atkinson’s twice-crashed regular McLaren F1 with 41,000 miles sold for somewhere around $11 million just recently.
Those LM upgrades alone easily are worth a $2 million premium.
