740HP HPA Volkswagen Golf R – Video

 

Matt Farah tests out HPA’s insane, 740-hp, Hellcat-defaming, Godzilla-crushing Golf R.

 

HPA managed to reach this ridiculous amount of horsepower by fitting under the bonnet VW’s 3.6-litre V6 engine from a Passat R36, which in turn gained two hybrid turbochargers. The seven-speed DSG transmission is out of an Audi TT RS, and which has been updated to cope with the 740hp and 650lb ft of the engine.
