The 2025 Porsche 911 992.2 lineup brings together tradition and innovation in a way that feels more refined than ever. Porsche fans have a lot to get excited about—especially with the introduction of the all-new hybrid system, design updates, and some serious performance upgrades across the board.

Starting with the standard 911 Carrera and Carrera Cabriolet, both now come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. That setup produces 394 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, which is enough to push the coupe from zero to sixty miles per hour in 4.1 seconds, topping out at 183 miles per hour. The power is delivered through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that shifts lightning fast, keeping the whole experience smooth and responsive. Inside, the cabin now features a fully digital instrument panel for the first time ever in a 911, and the exterior design gets subtle changes like new bumpers and refined aerodynamics.

Next up is the 911 Carrera T, which leans into the purist vibe. This model is geared toward those who enjoy driving just for the sake of it. It comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, a sport-tuned suspension, and lightweight glass. It also sheds some sound insulation to reduce weight and improve agility. With 20-inch and 21-inch wheels in Vanadium Grey Metallic and a GT Sport steering wheel, it feels more like a track car dressed for the road.

Then there is the GTS lineup. The Carrera GTS and GTS Cabriolet now introduce Porsche’s T-Hybrid system. Under the hood is a newly developed 3.6-liter turbocharged flat-six paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined 532 horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque. That translates to a blistering zero to sixty time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 194 miles per hour. The electric turbocharger helps eliminate turbo lag completely, while a strengthened 8-speed dual-clutch transmission integrates the hybrid motor for seamless power delivery. The chassis benefits from Porsche Active Suspension Management and rear-axle steering for improved handling.

If you want open-air fun with serious grip, the Targa 4 GTS adds all-wheel drive and that same hybrid powertrain. It sprints to 60 in 3.1 seconds and matches the GTS coupe’s top speed. You still get the signature Targa roof, blending the joy of top-down driving with the stiffness of a coupe.

The 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring carry on with the beloved 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, producing 503 horsepower. Buyers can choose between a 7-speed dual-clutch or a 6-speed manual transmission. The GT3 hits 60 in 3.4 seconds and maxes out at 198 miles per hour. You can go loud with the large rear wing or stealthy with the Touring version, which skips the wing for a cleaner look.
