2024 Ford Kuga ST- Line Facelift

The 2024 Ford Kuga ST-Line, unveiled today, represents a significant refresh in Ford’s SUV lineup, characterized by an array of updates and enhancements. Visually, the vehicle adopts a contemporary and assertive appearance, highlighted by an enlarged, commanding grille and elongated headlights. Special attention is given to the ST-Line and ST-Line X models which exude a sportier aesthetic, courtesy of distinctively styled lower bumpers and creases. In contrast, the Active version is distinguished by its rugged black cladding and bespoke alloy wheels, while the rear of the Kuga is modernized with LED taillights and a redesigned bumper.

The interior of the Kuga has been substantially upgraded, featuring a prominent 13.2-inch touchscreen that operates the latest Ford Sync 4 infotainment system. This system integrates several modern functionalities, including wireless smartphone connectivity and Amazon Alexa. The central console’s design is more streamlined, integrating physical controls into the touchscreen interface for a cleaner look.

Under the hood, the Kuga offers several powertrain options. The base model is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with 148 horsepower. Hybrid variants include a self-charging hybrid with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, available in both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations, and a plug-in hybrid that delivers a combined output of 240 horsepower. Notably, the plug-in hybrid variant promises an impressive electric range of up to 43 miles and boasts enhanced acceleration, achieving 0-62 mph in just 7.3 seconds. It also offers a significant towing capacity of 2,100 kilograms, surpassing its competitors in this aspect.

Scheduled to be available for sale soon, the 2024 Ford Kuga will be offered in various trims including Titanium, ST-Line, Active, and ST-Line X, with prices starting from approximately £32,080. This suite of updates positions the Kuga as a strong contender in the SUV market, blending style, advanced technology, and performance.
