2019 Suzuki GSX-R1000R Ryuyo Limited Edition -Video
The 2019 Suzuki GSX-R1000R Ryuyo Limited Edition gets the name from Ryuyo, a small place with a big name located close to Hamamatsu, Japan. This development center has an off-road track and a road course. It’s basically where most Suzuki motorcycles are developed. But one thing’s for sure – it is the fastest test track in the world. And now, it is also the fastest GSX-R1000R ever.
With only 20 units to be made available, this extremely limited edition GSX-R based on their sportier 1000R variant will run on top-spec components from some the industry’s best-known brands to make it the fastest, most powerful, hardest-accelerating, cleanest-running GSX-R ever produced.
The 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor will run on the same 999.8 cc motor with an increased power output of 212 hp at 12,900 rpm and a peak twisting force of 88 lb-ft. It carries over the slipper assist and a 6-speed transmission with Bi-directional Quick-shift System.
It will come with driving modes, 10-level traction control, launch control, quick-shifter and slipper clutch. Mechanically, Showa BPF (Big Piston Front) forks and BFRC lite (Balance Free Rear Cushion lite) shock at the rear, developed for MotoGP handle suspension duties. Brembo Monoblock brakes come with ABS.
