The fourth generation of the bestseller is off the production line: The serial production of the new Ford Focus has begun in Saarlouis. Ford celebrated the start of production on Tuesday at a staff event in the Ford Focus manufacturing plant in Saarlouis with about 500 employees. The guests included Saarland’s Prime Minister Tobias Hans, Minister of Economic Affairs Anke Rehlinger and Peter Demmer, Mayor of Saarlouis.

Gunnar Herrmann, Chairman of the Board of Management of Ford-Werke GmbH, thanked the employees for the smooth start of volume production and emphasized the importance of the model series. “The new Ford Focus can really be proud of!
