2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado – Video
It was about time Toyota gave the Land Cruiser Prado some tender loving care, more so if you bear in mind the fourth-generation model is in production since 2009. The Toyota-branded counterpart of the Lexus GX comes with full-time 4WD furthered by a torque-sensing limited-slip differential and electronic differential lock. A capable off-road vehicle, the J150 Prado for the 2018 model year borrows a handful of styling artifices from its bigger brother.
From the design of the front grille to the headlight graphic and reshaped rear bumper, there’s no denying where the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado takes inspiration from. The squared-off face benefits from LED daytime running lights and angular fog lamps, but the big news is on the inside. Here, the automaker has bettered the cabin with a sportier steering wheel, less cluttered center console, revised instrument cluster, and new infotainment.
Occupant protection is another highlight worthy of mention, with the Toyota Safety Sense P array of features befitting the Land Cruiser Prado. Shortened to TSS-P, the safety suite includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Automatic High Beam, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, and many more driver-assist features.
