Occupying the highest grade in the model line-up, the new Hilux 2018 Special Edition boasts all the toughness, robustness, and legendary Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR) that have made Hilux the world’s favourite pick-up.

Available in Double Cab format with automatic transmission, the new Hilux 2018 Special Edition features an exclusive exterior design appropriate to its range-topping status.

To the front, completely new styling incorporates extensively revised grille, bumper, and fog light designs, and the integration of a silver under-run, reinforcing the Toyota pick-up’s tough, robust, go-anywhere credentials.

The rear benefits from a new step and the addition of a silver under-run beneath the license plate. The new 2018 Special Edition is further hallmarked by a unique Metallic Orange paint finish and, in Eastern Europe, a bespoke 18″ alloy wheel design.

 

 

On board, the new Toyota pick-up features a unique, all-black interior, the quality of which is reinforced by chrome instrument panel trim and piano black inserts on the dashboard and door trim, as well as on the steering wheel, gear lever and gear shift surround.

The driver’s instrument binnacle showcases a new dial design with a striking, white background, and a central TFT screen displaying a dedicated Hilux 2018 Special Edition signature animation when the ignition is switched on. Even the key is model-specific, featuring a silhouette sketch of the new frontal design.
