Frontal impact: The protection offered to the driver and passenger head and neck was good. Driver chest received marginal protection and passenger’s chest adequate protection from the restraint systems. Driver knees showed good protection from the knee airbag and Passenger’s knees showed good protection as well.
Driver’s tibia showed adequate and marginal protection while Passenger’s tibias showed good protection. Foot well area is stable and showed insignificant deformation. Feet protection is good. The bodyshellwas rated as stable.
Side impact: The side body and curtain airbag offered good protection to the adult in head, chest abdomen and pelvis. Side Pole impact: The side body and side head curtain airbags offered good protection to the head, abdomen and pelvis while it offered adequate protection to the chest. ESC: The ESC was tested and its performance met the regulatory requirements of Latin NCAP. The car offers two frontal SBR. All the above explain the five stars for the Adult Occupant Protection.
