2018 Mercedes AMG C63 R Coupe – Video

 

Apart from the obnoxious rear wing that will be supported by a carbon fiber trunk lid, there will be few details to differentiate the C63 R Coupe from the regular, run-of-the-mill, C63 S Coupe. At least this is what the first spy photos of the thing seem to suggest.

A much larger aerodynamic splitter can be observed at the front, but the way it’s been glued on the bumper makes us believe that it looks pretty far from the end product. That said, since the C63 and C63 S Coupe are already quite a bit wider than the C63 and C 63 S Sedan, we don’t think that the “R” will push the wheel arches even further from the body too much.
