2018 Cadillac CT6 PLUG-IN Explained – Video
The 2018 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In gains Cocoa Bronze Metallic as a new color. No colors are being deleted from the palette of the 2018 model, giving the 2018 CT6 PHEV a total of six exterior colors. The other two changes are to the car’s in-vehicle technology.
First up is the addition of an updated Cadillac User Experience (CUE) infotainment system (version 2.6), which includes CUE Collection and Teen Driver. Collection allows customers to easily browse, select and install apps that enhance your driving experience so it gets better every day. Using the vehicle’s touch screen, you can customize your content with music, audio books, weather and more, while Teen Driver is a configurable feature that lets vehicle owners activate customizable vehicle settings associated with a key fob to encourage safe driving behavior. It can limit certain vehicle features, and it prevents certain safety systems from being turned off. An in-vehicle report gives you information on your teen’s driving habits and helps you to continue to coach your new driver
To note, this CUE system is one generation behind the all-new CUE 3.0 which is making its debut on the 2018 Cadillac CTS and 2018 Cadillac XTS.
Finally, the 2018 CT6 Plug-In’s Automatic Park Assist feature gains brake pedal operation, meaning that the 2018 CT6 can now fully park itself without the intervention of the driver.
