The exterior once again resembles those of the other cars in Nissan’s lineup, thanks to the addition of the “V-motion” grille up front. The revised rear end features LED signatures, and of course, there are a few new wheel designs and exterior colors on offer. It’s not a wildly different look, but it’s definitely fresher.

The interior features plenty of new kit, as well. The center console’s been redesigned, and there’s a new flat-bottomed steering wheel, new trim pieces and a new sport mode shifter. On the SV grade, both heated cloth seats and remote engine start are standard. If you want to get really fancy, the Platinum Reserve Interior Package adds tan leather seats and quilted leather inserts.

The biggest change lies under the hood. The all-new Rogue Hybrid features a 2.0-liter I4 engine mated to a 30-kW electric motor, for a net output of about 176 horsepower. Front-wheel drive hybrids achieve an EPA-estimated 33 mpg city and 35 mpg highway, while AWD models drop down to 31 city and 34 highway. If you’d rather have a gas engine, the 170-horsepower I4 is still available, and that will hit 33 mpg highway with front-wheel drive.
