The latest Navara range is unique in its use of a coil-sprung suspension setup (five-link) at the rear of dual-cab models, although other variants retain a conventional leaf design.

The application of a car-like suspension design in the rear was intended to bring new levels of ride comfort to the high-riding ute market and, at least when unladen, the package largely delivers on its promise.
