Power for the model comes courtesy of the familiar 3.5-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 305 hp and 268 lb-ft and mated exclusively to ZF’s eight-speed automatic transmission. The Challenger GT AWD (All Wheel Drive) then adopts the same transfer case and front-axle disconnect has the all-wheel drive Charger. Typically, all of the power whipped up by the V6 is sent to the rear wheels. Power only gets funnelled through the front when necessary.
