1982 BMW 320i with only 26k miles
This 1982 BMW 320i (VIN WBAAG3308C8055456) is an American market car delivered fresh from the German factory to its first owner in Munich. Shipped back to the United States shortly afterward, the vehicle spent 23 years in storage until it was discovered and careful recommissioning. Listed on eBay in Youngstown, New York with reserve not met.
Though the seller mentions a small scratch repair, we gather that the vehicle is otherwise all-original. OEM wheels are included separately, though these Alpina items look fantastic. Recent, recommissioning work included a boiled, cleaned and paint fuel tank, rebuilt motor, all new gaskets and rubber, new hoses, battery, plugs, wires, fuel injectors and a rebuilt fuel distributor pump.
The beautiful blue vinyl interior looks equally excellent and appears to be all stock parts apart from a nice period appropriate wooden Alpina shift knob and dash plaque with the original owner’s name. With just over 26k miles from new, it’s probably the nicest BMW E21 we’ve seen in a few years.
What do you think this car will be worth in 10 years?
