We all know electric cars are quick off the line but it seems even the quickest internal combustion cars don’t hold a candle to the new generation of battery-powered, zero-emission offerings.

Rimac is still fine tuning the Concept_One but has previously stated that the starting price will be $980,000. That might seem steep but, as the video above demonstrates, we’re talking about the fastest electric car to be built and sold to the public. According to Rimac, the 1,088-horsepower car will hit 62 mph from rest in 2.6 seconds, pass 124 mph in 6.2 seconds, pass 186 mph in 14.2 seconds and eventually top out at 220 mph.
