1000PS Ferrari 488 GTB by xXx Performance

It’s one of the first aftermarket specialists to take a stab at upgrading the turbocharged Ferrari 488 GTB and have already come up with a boost for the twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine. As if the standard 670 PS (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) output wasn’t enough, xXx Peformance’s stage 1 kit dials the motor to 750 PS (552 kW) and 830 Nm (613 lb-ft).

It is followed by a stage 2 program bumping power to 850 PS (625 kW) and 930 Nm (687 lb-ft), while the stage 3 package will unleash more than 1,000 PS (736 kW) and 1,250 Nm (923 lb-ft). With the strongest kit available, the tuned Ferrari 488 GTB is even more powerful than the track-only hybrid Ferrari FXX K.

These three massive power upgrades were possible thanks to a remapped ECU, custom intake, and a new sports exhaust system. The latter incorporates controllable flaps and has bigger downpipes for a lower back-pressure to provide a more aggressive soundtrack.
